Cause for Effect helps people recover from heartbreaking events. We dedicate our time and resources to assisting first responders, advocacy centers, shelters, and children's homes.

Misfortune can befall anyone, with or without warning. When bad things happen people need one another. Together we can turn tragedy into triumph and change lives for the better.

How our programs make a difference

"Friends in Need"

With the help of sponsors and donations, we gather and distribute much-needed supplies and clothing for victim advocacy centers and foster facilities.

"SOS - Support Our Shelters"

We support housing for homeless initiatives, including Square One Village, an affordable tiny house temporary solution to rehoming in stable, affordable, eco-friendly communities.

"Save Yourself"

Cause for Effect provides law enforcement, first responders, researchers and educators with information and assistance with active threat training resources.

• In 2019, the national child victimization rate in the United States was 9 victims per 1,000 children ages 0-17 years.

•In 2022, over 368,000 children were in foster care.

• In 2023, roughly 653,000 people were homeless.

• There were over 500 mass shootings in the US in 2024.

• Child advocacy centers in Arizona help over 15,000 child victims annually.

• In 2024, the Children's Home of Lubbock raised 80% of their funding goal to renovate 14 cottages to modern standards.

• SquareOne Village in Oregon built over 100 affordable micro homes for the homeless.

• As of 2024, 37 of the 50 states require active shooter drills.

A lot has been accomplished but there is still so far to go.
